Description

The Cave Rock portion of the Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park is primarily a boat launch and parking facility. There is a double ramp, with 40 trailer-parking spaces. The launch site is open between May 27 through September 5, from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm daily, but check with the State Park website for any changes to the hours.

For regulations or to schedule an inspection to launch an offsite watercraft in Lake Tahoe, visit the tahoeboatinspections.com website.

There is a small beach and picnic area at the south end of the park, which provides hand-carry launch access for paddlers.
