Description

Traveling north on HWY 395, Topaz Lake is the first lake and recreation area you pass as you cross the California and Nevada border. The recreation area is located along Topaz Park Rd and situated not too far from local restaurants, a casino and several small hotels.

The recreation area is complete with several campsites with RV hook ups, primitive tent camping sites, a restroom with a shower and boat dock! Motorized boat use, paddling and fishing are the most common recreation activities on Topaz lake. Short walking trails follow the perimeter of the lake. Shade structures and trees around the camping area provide the only shade, it is best to pack prepared and bring sun protective clothing and temporary shade structures.
