A total of six separate trails make up the Caliente Bike Skills park riding area; one easy, two intermediate, and three difficult trails. There is a mix of obstacles designed to help mountain bikers of any level improve their skills, from progression jumps at the park to some challenging switchbacks in the hills.
Barnes Canyon and the Kershaw Ryan State Park mountain bike trails can be accessed via bike from the Caliente Bike Skills Park.
There are bathrooms and shaded areas at the park.
Camping is available at Kershaw Ryan State Park and Cathedral Gorge State Park.
