This newly constructed trail network caters to almost every recreationalist. Trails at the Colorado heritage park are flat and paved allowing for ADA access. The Riverview trail is also ADA accessible and is flat packed dirt. A trail parallel to the river front trail is the Horseshoe trail. this serves as an alternate route for mountain bikers and equestrians. The Dam Overlook trail is the more difficult trail of the network and follows up a slow incline to a scenic overlook. This trail is accessible by mountain bikers and hikers only. The dessert trail is a small offshoot of the Dam overlook trail that begins at the Davis Dam Rd parking area and is accessible by hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians.
