Description

Located just 10 miles north of downtown Elko, the Elko Snobowl Ski and Bike Park sits at 7000 ft. elevation and is filled with tons of fun trails. Although the resort may be small, it is owned and operated by the people of Elko, making this an affordable day for the whole family. In the Summer the hill is used as a bike park area with miles of fun ridable tracks and a lift to take you to the top. In the winter, it is open to skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiing on the back side of the hill.

Mountain Biking:

There are 10 mountain bike trails that make up the Elko SnoBowl Ski and Bike Park. Three of the trails are rated as intermediate and one is rated as difficult. In total there are about 10 miles of trails, with the longest trail being about 3 miles. Although it may not seem like much, this is the perfect place to spend an afternoon ride and perfect your skills.

Snowboarding/Skiing:

The ElkoSnoBowl usually runs from December until April, but this depends on the snowfall and local weather patterns. There are two lifts, one that will take you to the beginner trails and another that takes you to the top of the hill. The trail difficulty is split evenly with half of them being designated for beginners and the other half for intermediate. To make things more interesting, some of the intermediate trails are not groomed! The ski lift is operated by volunteers but there is always ski patrol on duty during the operating hours.
