Best traveled in the winter months, this fun and challenging trail is recommended to be used by experienced hikers only. This steep trail follows a deep canyon and has several rock scramble and rope climbing areas with a beautiful hot spring at the end. It is recommended to plan 3 to 4 hours each way as the rope climbs may be more difficult than expected.
Several hot spring filled pools, waterfalls and grottos are sprinkled throughout the latter end of the trail allowing for plenty of places to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The trail is closed from May 15th to September 30th. Some hot spring pools may be dried up or very low due to lack of water in the area.
