Whether you are looking for a strenuous hike, get in a game of pickle ball, or take your dog out to run around, Hidden Valley Regional Park has it all! The main park area has two dog parks, a pickle ball course, warm-up horse area, and a volley ball court. The east side of the park is teaming with beautiful winding trails that range from easy to strenuous. Mountain biking and equestrian use is allowed on the trails. Some trails become very narrow at points, be sure to yield accordingly and go slow around corners.
During winter months, the trails are usually covered in snow, be sure to pack accordingly and bring micro-spikes or hiking poles when necessary.
Herds of wild horses frequent the area, please keep your distance and do not attempt to feed or interact with them.
Hidden Valley Regional Park will be undergoing renovations, check the Washoe County website for updates and the master plan.
