This free park has everything you could ask for! Equestrians, mountain bikers and hikers are welcome to use these trails throughout the year making this a great spot for a nice summer ride or a breathtaking snowshoe adventure. This historic area is perfect for families or anyone wanting to escape into nature. A direct trail connects you from the park to the Kingsbury segment of the Tahoe Rim Trail.
All of the trails are dirt with a few rock outcroppings. Difficulty ranges from easy to moderate depending on the loop you take. The Van Sickle Tahoe Rim trail connector is the longest trail in the park at 3.6 miles one way and is rated as moderate. The easier trails will be located around the base of the mountain.
During the winter, the park is closed to vehicles but can still be access by pedestrians. Restrooms and water fountains will also be closed during the winter months. Snow play such as sledding and tubing is not allowed.
