Two popular recreation sites in the area are Wall Canyon Reservoir and Boulder Reservoir. The Wall Canyon Reservoir is a BLM and NDOW managed site with a campground, picnic tables and a vault toilet. Both the Boulder and Wall Canyon Reservoirs are stocked with trout, so fishing is always great and you are guaranteed to have little competition.
Hiking trails are not defined but is allowed within the wilderness study area.

Portions of these trails border a designated wilderness area, only hikers and equestrians are allowed within the wilderness boundary. Motorized and mechanized use is only permitted on surrounding non-wilderness trails. Please be respectful of the wilderness boundary and only travel on designated roads and trails for your activity type. Horses are allowed and only certified weed free hay can be brought in.
