There are several trails within Galena Creek Regional Park. The more popular loop is the Jones Creek loop that begins at the trail head. This loop connects with several other out and back trails such as the White Creek trail, Church’s Pond Trail, Dry Pond Trail and Bitterbrush Trail. Mountain bikes, bicycles and equestrians are only permitted on certain trails. These trails are rated as easy to moderate with one trail being strenuous, the Jones-Whites Creek Loop.
The Whites Creek and Thomas Creek trails can both be accessed outside of the park on Timberline Road north off of HWY 431 (Mt. Rose Highway). There may be seasonal road closures on the access road that leads you to Whites Creek trailhead.
There is one paved, ADA accessible path, the Interpretive Loop near the visitor’s center.
Picnic areas and restrooms are located at each trailhead.
