Description

This park features the Eagle Valley Reservoir, along with the riparian habitat nestled between dramatic, steep rock cliffs and hillsides and surrounding Great Basin desert. It is situated in Northeastern Lincoln County, near the headwaters of the Meadow Valley Wash. The park has two improved campgrounds, with 37 campsites, restrooms, shade structures and water.

For those who enjoy boating and fishing, the reservoir is a popular spot and is stocked with rainbow, German brown and tiger trout. The reservoir and the riparian area in the wash and pasture lands provide habitat for many types of wildlife.

The main hiking trail is the Ranch Campground to Stone Cabin Trail, which winds up into the hills and is about 2 ½ miles long.  Visitors also enjoy taking a hike around the perimeter of the lake.

Another option for camping in the area is the Meadow Valley Campground.  This is managed by the BLM and has 2 unimproved campsites and 4 sites with tables, fire rings and a restroom.
