There are several miles of beautiful trails located at the Clark County Wetlands Preserve Park. These trails weave in and out of several different ecological zones from Riparian, Desert Scrub, and Alkali Meadows. There is a large variety of flora and fauna that can be observed on any given day, making this one of the most ecologically divers areas in Clark County.
In the 210 acre section of the Nature preserve, there are approximately 3 miles of paved ADA trail and several miles of non paved trail. Pets and mechanized activities are not permitted within the preserve boundary. The 14 mile Wetlands Loop Trail is one of the few multi-purpose paved trails in the area that can be used by Joggers, cyclists, dog walkers and is ADA compliant. The final 2 miles of this loop are unpaved due to continual flooding.
Bicycling and horse back riding is allowed on all non-paved trails outside of the Nature preserve boundary. Trailer parking can be found at the Pabco trailhead and in the neighborhood near the Sunrise trailhead.
The Wetlands Park Nature center trail is one of the few ADA trails at the Clark County Wetlands park. Visit the Trails Access Project website for more information.
Horses, dogs and bikes are not allowed within the nature preserve area. Horses are only allowed on non-paved trails.
E-bikes, roller skates and skateboards are allowed on paved trails outside of the nature preserve.
If you are planning on visiting the park after a storm, please check their website for trail condition updates.
Trails are open daily dawn to dusk and the Nature Center is open Tuesday - Sunday 9 am to 3 pm.
The Sunrise trailhead is currently closed due to damage.
